A short walk from Mexico City’s historic center, a clothing factory catches fire, sending plumes of black smoke into the atmosphere.

With many adjacent markets stalls vulnerable, hundreds of workers rush to pack and clear their stock before being evacuated.

While many move quickly to flee the area, the Bomberos (fire service) use many tankers of water in their efforts to extinguish the fire.

As a result of the toxic fumes of plastic burning billowing into the night, at times, the sky appeared almost completely black, with an orange glow.
