Passing by this group of ladies, I couldn’t help but feel the stares. Soon enough we’d struck up a basic conversation (through my then pretty rudimentary Spanish) and they agreed to a few portraits with me, but only on the condition that we all have one “juntos despues”.

Probably one of my favourite portrait series,  it took no convincing or posing to get this family into position. It felt very organic; they just knew.

After taking their photos, I made good on my part of the deal with a group selfie. Ever the flirt, the lady on the left gifted me an impromptu head kiss.
